The National Skills Academy for Social Care is a world-class centre
of development, learning support and training practice in England’s
adult social care sector.
This is your opportunity to support a new project where the end
result will be a national improvement in social care training. You’ll
be supporting our Head of Quality Assurance in implementing,
running and developing a totally new system to record and monitor
the uptake of the Skills Academy Endorsement Scheme. You will
also undertake other administrative duties in support of the QA
programme, liaising with a range of organisations and individuals
with an interest in improving training in the adult social care sector.
The job involves establishing and maintaining effective processes
for tracking and monitoring applications for endorsement. It also
means ensuring smooth communication and information flow
between the Academy and its representatives in the nine English
regions, and with education and training providers, employers and
their training departments, educational publishers and others.
To succeed you need significant experience in establishing,
managing and maintaining complex databases and information
management systems, and a proven ability to work collaboratively
